President KP Assembly Babar Swati asked to resign

Rawalpindi: The Rift within Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI) deepened while the imprisoned founder of PTI, Imran Khan, directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, president of the assembly Babar Saleem Swati to resign, Ary News reported on Tuesday.

This development follows a recent decision by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to go beyond the additional defender General Noroz Khan, in the midst of internal disagreement reports between chief minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur and the central chief of Pti Mohammad Atif Khan.

According to Swati, Imran Khan said that if the KP committee investigating corruption allegations against party leaders has reached a conclusion, President Babar Swati should resign.

Azam Swati also informed Imran Khan of corruption problems in Manshra and reassured him that Salman Akram Raja would not betray him.

In addition, Swati discussed the concerns about Junaid Akbar, president of PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with the founder of PTI. Swati said Imran Khan had ordered Akbar's appointments to be immediately reversed.

Meanwhile, the president of the assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Babar Swati, responded to the Azam Swati press conference.

He denied allegations, calling them to lies and said he would clarify his position to Imran Khan at a next meeting.

Babar Swati also mentioned that he had already approached the allegations of corruption before the party's responsibility committee and would accept any decision made by the PTI after having presented his case.
