Women’s Basketball 2022-23 Non-Conference Schedule Revealed
Florida will kick off the excitement with the regular season opener on Monday, November 7, when they welcome Florida A&M to the O’Connell Center. Prior to the home opener, the Gators will host Saint Leo for an exhibition match on Wednesday, November 2nd.
In the same vein as 2021-22, the Orange & Blue will compete in two neutral-location events, starting with the St. Pete Showcase where they meet Green Bay on November 24 and Houston on November 26. The non-conference schedule will end at the previously announced Jumpman Invitational in Charlotte, NC, where the Gators will face it on December 21 in Oklahoma.
Following a home game with UNC Asheville on Nov. 13, the Gators will face their first road test of the season on Nov. 16 when they travel to Tallahassee, Florida, to take on state rivals Florida State. St. Pete Showcase in late November, UF will host Bethune Cookman (November 18), Furman (November 21) and Prairie View A&M (November 30) to round out the month.
A road trip to Dayton for a game with the Flyers awaits the Gators on Sunday, December 4, before a quick trip home to a showdown on December 6 with Presbyterian. Florida will remain in the state on December 10 and head south to meet Miami in Coral Gables before wrapping up its home game against UNC Greensboro on Sunday, December 18.
The Southeastern Conference program for 2022-23 will be announced in the coming weeks.
