The British tennis player Fran Jones was forced to withdraw from a tournament in Colombia after collapse during a match against Julia Riera in the Argentina.
The 24-year-old staggered to the ground in the third set of the Colsanitas Cup in Bogota and could not continue to play.
She had to be helped in a wheelchair.
“Because of a physical issue, Francesca Jones withdrew from her match against Julia Riera on 6-2 5-7 5-3 in favor of the Argentinian,” said the official X account of the Colsanitas Cup.
“We wish the British tennis player a quick recovery.”
During the game she seemed to struggle with her breathing and lay on the floor before she was lifted into a wheelchair by doctors and her opponent when the court was taken from the court.

Jones is in the world at 129.
She was born with the rare genetic disorder, ectrodactyly ectodermal dysplasia. She misses one finger on each hand and only has seven toes.
Finishing competitions was a challenge during her career, where Jones often suffers from attacks of serious cramps.
Jones had lost the opening set 6-2 before he recovered to take the second 7-5, but was 5-3 in the back of the third, two points away from the defeat.
Riera will then be confronted with the US IVA Jovic in the round of 16.
