These eight hypothetical brackets for the play -off of the university would cause sensational last four

The NCAA Basketball Final Four from 2025 has a case for the most stacked ever. The last time that four 1-seeds reached the last four was 2008. Amazingly enough, all four national semi-finalists are in the top 10 teams in the history of Kenpom.

With that in mind we decided to think about some of the best potential matchups on the football side on the way to the second year of the 12-team College Football Play -off. The first iteration delivered some legendary competitions, including the victory of Notre Dame on Georgia, a Texas Barn-Burner against Arizona State and Ohio State who challenged demons to win the Natty. Next year can be even bigger.

The criteria for assessing quality CFP Final Four Matchups are subjective. Part of it comes down to the entertainment factor and the quality of the game. Others include important storylines, such as a player or coach who turns a program. For at least one, the pre -rare trash can there would be a legendary run -up.

Different brackets are realistic and can deliver historical matchups in the coming months. Others require a little more suspension of faith. With that in mind, there are eight potential CFP -left four brackets that would yield an exciting finish.

Heavyweight bracket

Teams: Ohio State, Texas, Georgia, Notre Dame

Consider this as the University Football equivalent of the Final Four 2025. These are four of the unanimous most powerful programs in the University Football. Georgia and Ohio State have combined for three of the last four national championships. Texas has appeared in back-to-back national semi-final. Notre Dame reached the title game and returned the core of the team. The only drawback is that Texas will probably have played Georgia and Ohio State before. However, if they earn their way back, it will be earned. Every combination of these teams would lead to a legendary matchup.

Air bracket

Teams: Miami, LSU, Texas, Penn State

Defense wins championships, there is little doubt. Yet the Final Four 2024-25 with only one quarterback that is expected to be set up in even the first three rounds, a bit matte. Needless to say, this four would be a shot in the arm. Carson Beck, Garrett Nussmeier, Arch Manning and Drew Allar are all on the shortlist of the best Quarterbacks in the University Football. Each has the talent to take place in the first round with a strong run in the play -off of the University Football. Think of the Alabama-LSU match of 2019 between Tua Tagovailoa and Joe Burrow-We could get something on the largest stage of the game.

Breakthrough bracket

Teams: LSU, Penn State, Texas, Utah

Last season Ohio's State Coach Ryan Day finally took the monkey from his back and broke through to win a national championship. The year before it was Michigan's Jim Harbaugh. Two years earlier, Georgia's Kirby Smart was. Now attention focuses on the best coaches in the sport that still have to achieve the ultimate phase. James Franklin and Brian Kelly are determined by failing on the largest stage. Steve Sarkisian has not been there that long, but would go the number 1 coach conversation with a title. Kyle Whittingham has locked a Hall of Fame career in Salt Lake City, but a deep CFP run would cement it as one of the best ever.

New era

Teams: Oregon, Arizona State, Notre Dame, Boise State

There has been an exodus of legendary coaching talent in recent years, but it is the perfect time to get to know the next generation. All four of these programs and coaches were in the play -off of the University Football last season. What is even more important, the coaches of all four programs are younger than 40 years. Arizona State Coach Kenny Dillingham is a serious unicorn at 34-year-old, making him the second-jongest coach in the FBS. Spencer Danielson is not far behind 36. Marcus Freeman (39) and then Lanning (38) are large coaching talents. Each of these coaches is able to reach the top position in the coach ranking on the road.

REBERING OF 2021 Backing

Teams: Oklahoma, USC, Notre Dame, LSU

So, who really won the falling apart? Let's decide the field. College Football has called Oklahoma to get a chance at Lincoln Riley since he left for USC. Both programs should make important upgrades to reach this point, but hiring a few great general managers helps things. LSU and Notre Dame is a realistic battle because Brian Kelly tries to get his new team to championship level. Kelly is the winning coach in Irish history, but fans are perfectly satisfied since Freeman led them to the title game. Can Kelly get his old program back?

Phase

Teams: Colorado, Florida State, Illinois, Ole Miss

Is it likely that one of these teams will make the last four? No, not really. Would a matchup between coach Prime and his Alma Mater let the juices flow? Absolute. The triple all-American has a complicated relationship with the school, especially after he has convinced Travis Hunter to leave FSU for Jackson State. Both parties would enjoy the chance. And by the way, if Sanders wins a victory to reach the national championship game … Fans' clamors to take him to Tallahassee, that would be deafening. We will use the Illinois coach Bret Bielema and Ole Miss -Coach Lane Kiffin as two terminally online coaches who should be more than happy to participate in the pleasure.

Texas Forever Bracket

Teams: Texas, Smu, Baylor, Texas A&M

Let's turn the clock back to my days in the Texas Football Magazine from Dave Campbell. Three of the four major university football conferences are now playing in the large state of Texas after SMU joined the ACC in 2024. Texas A&M and Texas were both in a serious CFP set on the way to November. Smu earned a trip to the field and returns Ster Quarterback Kevin Jennings. Baylor is a serious big 12 -year -old, although TCU or Texas Tech will squeeze on their heels. A last four can convince this good football gods to bring the Southwest conference back to its rightful glory.

Final four bracket

Teams: Duke, Florida, Auburn, Houston

It is more difficult than ever to win great in both football and basketball, but all four final participants of this men's basketball have at least a chance. Duke has perhaps the best Quarterback in the Portal, Darian Mensah, to add to a team of nine Win. Houston added his own five-star in Conner Weigman and Willie Fritz is a turnaround master. Florida with Quarterback DJ Lagway is probably the most realistic on the list, but Auburn also invested great under coach Hugh Freeze. It would be pretty funny to repeat this group on another stage.
