Syracuse football had a solid recruiting day on Thursday.

The Orange picked up its second verbal commitment for 2027, as four-star wide receiver Chanin Harris announced his commitment to the ‘Cuse. on Thursday afternoon. A huge congratulations from Oranje Natie to Chanin!

Earlier Thursday, Syracuse football also scored a verbal commitment from 2027 defensive lineman Edan Richardson, who will spend his senior year at Archbishop McCarthy High School in Southwest Ranches, Florida.

Both Richardson and Harris were among the 2027 players who took official visits to the ‘Cuse from May 29-31, with more official visits planned by rising high school players this coming weekend and for two additional weekends later this month.

Harris’ decision to play for Orange head coach Fran Brown and his staff is no surprise. Ahead of his commitment announcement on Thursday afternoon, there were several analyst predictions toward SU for Harris 247Sports And Rivals.
