Continue to support Google Cloud quotas – Instructor Community

My school has been using Canvas for three years. At first, it was difficult to get teachers to use her Canvas, but thanks to Google Cloud's assignment format and his Speedgrader, most schools were convinced. I'm shocked to hear that support for Google Cloud quotas has ended. The Google LTI 1.3 option is much less user friendly. It's clunky and takes about 10 clicks to create. The availability of Speedgrader has improved its allocation types, but it's still no better than the more streamlined Google Cloud options. I'm worried that many teachers in my school will stop using his Canvas if they can't use the Google Cloud Assignment option and are forced to use the Google LTI 1.3 option instead. So I have three questions. 1. Why do we no longer support the Google Cloud assignment type? This is the most popular assignment type at my school. 2. Even though Google Cloud Assignment is no longer supported, why is it still available as an option? (See screenshot below) 3. Created using the Google Cloud Assignment type in the last 3 years What will happen to my assignments? Will I still have access to them? There will be a revolt here if teachers no longer have access to all the work they've done to set up their courses in Canvas. thank you.Beth

Please continue to support Google Cloud issues. This is a cleaner and more user-friendly option. Losing it would severely impact the teachers at my school. I think many people would stop using Canvas if they lost this option.
