British plastic for “recycling” in Turkey – BBC News

A BBC investigation has found that British plastic waste that is supposed to be recycled in Turkey needs to be dumped there and burned. The UK exports more plastic waste to Turkey than to any other country. The environment says Turkey cannot even recycle its waste and no longer need to import it.
