The 2022 Netflix special Earthquake, Chappelle's Home Team – Legendary: Earthquake, was the first comedy special that Dave Chappelle produced and did not produce. His second Netflix special, also produced by Chappelle, is set to be released.

Earthquake has also appeared in countless movies and TV shows over the years — most recently, Jerry Seinfeld’s Netflix comedy Unfrosted and Cedric the Entertainer’s CBS sitcom The Neighborhood. He can currently be seen as Johnson in Bounce, and will soon reprise his role as Uncle Mike in Everybody Hates Chis in the Comedy Central cartoon Everybody Still Hates Chris.

Earthquake also hosts Quake's Show, a radio show for Kevin Hart's Laugh Out Loud network on SiriusXM. After touring the country as a comedian for nearly 30 years, he opened his own comedy club, Uptown Comedy Corner, in Atlanta's Buckhead entertainment district in 1993, becoming the first black comedian to own his own venue in the city.
