In the first episode of Channel 4 News, the German filmmaker Marcel Mettelsief, who flew to Syria during a civil war, spent several weeks in Aleppo, an isolated civilian population and witnessed the siege. (Warning: it contains very serious war scenes, including pictures of children who have been injured and killed).
