Arcadia fell to the administration with 13,000 jobs at risk – BBC News
More than 13 thousand jobs are at risk after the Arcadia retail empire entered the administration. The team that includes Topshop, Burton and Dorothy Perkins was looking for a new injection of money due to the coronavirus pandemic and lost it after sales. However, a former Topshop leader – Jane Sheperdson – has told the BBC that the group’s problems go far beyond the pandemic. Sir Philip Green, President of Arcadia, has complained that he has made no investment in his retail empire and that his downfall is inevitable.
