Mayor’s balloons pollute Israel’s coast after oil spills – BBC News

Large Alcatran balloons have been found in Israel over 190 km (120 miles) of the Mediterranean coast due to one of the most serious environmental disasters the country has ever suffered. The source of the pollution is believed to be an oil spill generated by the ship 50 km (50 miles) from the coast during a storm on February 11th.
