Fed announces $ 2.3 million to fight COVID-19 in northwest Saskatchewan

MLTC and Métis Nation–Saskatchewan are “exemplary” leaders in responding to an outbreak, according to a Canadian Indigenous Services press release.
Ben is pleased that the leaders of the north have been recognized.
“They’re doing a lot of hard work, they’re doing a lot of hard work, they’re doing their best,” he said.
“Basically, everything in the north is now working together to fight this virus.”
Funds will be managed jointly to complement ongoing efforts, from embarkation checkpoint support to food insecurity efforts to home care products.
