London, September 27 (Reuters)-The COVID-19 Pandemic cuts life expectancy in 2020 to the maximum since World War II, according to a study released Monday by the University of Oxford, which is the life expectancy of American men. A year that has more than doubled.
In 22 of the 29 countries analyzed in a survey across Europe, the United States and Chile, life expectancy was reduced by more than six months compared to 2019. Overall, life expectancy has been reduced in 27 of the 29 countries.

In most countries, men’s life expectancy was significantly lower than that of women, with the largest decline in American men’s life expectancy of 2.2 years compared to 2019.
Overall, men have been shaved in 15 countries for over a year, compared to women in 11 countries. It has wiped out the mortality advances that have taken place over the last 5.6 years.
In the United States, the rise in mortality was mainly seen between working ages and people under the age of 60, but in Europe, the deaths of people over the age of 60 contributed significantly to the increase in mortality.
Kashyap has urged more countries, including low- and middle-income countries, to make mortality data available for further research.
“We urgently call for the publication and availability of more fragmented data to better understand the impact of the global pandemic,” she said.
