Expired Covid-19 vaccination took place in Wellington

A few Wellington people received an expired Covid-19 vaccination last week.
National Director Covid-19 Vaccination and Immunization Program JoGibbs said about 15 people were vaccinated at the Wellington site 24 hours after the expiration date.
“No one has been harmed by receiving the expired dose.”
Erie Van Barren, a spokeswoman for the Capital and Coast District Health Board, said the expired dose was administered at Wellington’s clinic on Thursday, October 14th and Friday, October 15th.
