Cincinnati Children’s Hospital vaccinates more than 500 children at COVID-19 Clinic
Nurses at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital administered more than 500 COVID-19 vaccines to their children at a clinic on Saturday at Avondale’s main campus. According to Childrens, this was the best daily total ever for a medical center. The clinic was held after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention gave a green light to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine given to children aged 5 to 11 years. A total of 585 people were vaccinated at the clinic on Saturday, according to older children. The COVID vaccination effort at Cincinnati Childrens was stated in a statement. “Knowing that each vaccine given to one child may save the lives of many is a powerful motivation for our dedicated nurses and other members of the Cincinnati Children’s Team. Children said they had vaccinated a total of 1,294 children between the ages of 5 and 11 at a clinic held last week for three days.
Starting Monday, November 8th, you will need to make an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at the Cincinnati Children’s Liberty Clinic or Green Township Clinic.
Walk-ins are available on Wednesdays from 4:30 pm to 6 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm at the Cincinnati Children’s Main Campus in Avondale.
