“One Less Worry” campaign launched to raise awareness of cervical cancer

The main cause of cervical cancer is the human papillomavirus (HPV). Of the more than 200 types, 14 are considered high risk. Type 52 accounts for 15.4% of cervical cancers and type 58 is associated with 42.5% of high-grade cervical lesions in Singapore.

Precancerous HPV is most common in women between the ages of 30 and early 40s.
