CDC publishes treatment records for suspected cases of bird flu

The CDC has confirmed that a bird-to-human transmission of strain A (H5N1) has previously occurred, which is the first symptomatic bird-to-human transmission reported in this recent outbreak. The CDC recommended that the general public avoid “unprotected exposure” to sick and dead birds, bird droppings, or other contaminated substances.
