Free Flu and COVID-19 Vaccines at Los Angeles County Libraries
Libraries throughout Los Angeles County are offering free flu and COVID-19 vaccines starting Tuesday.
20+ Libraries We are working with the LA County Department of Public Health to participate in the program from October 18th through November 22nd.
Free flu vaccine, COVID-19 vaccine and updated bivalent booster.
Walk-ins are allowed, but authorities recommend scheduling Online reservation to avoid long lines.
No government identification or proof of citizenship is required to be vaccinated. If you have an insurance card, you may bring it with you, but it is not required.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the flu vaccine is recommended for everyone 6 months and older, including healthy children and adults.
The flu vaccine is especially important for people who:
- Is your child under the age of 5
- Over 65 years old
- pregnant or just gave birth
- live in a nursing home or nursing home
- have a weakened immune system
- have chronic diseases (asthma, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, cancer)
- Living with or caring for someone who is prone to flu complications
- is a healthcare provider
