Wild bat found in safari park, positive rabies test | News
County public health officials are searching for people who may have come into contact with a bat that was found at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park on Monday, September 23 at 2:15 p.m., and later tested positive for rabies.

A team member at the safari park witnessed a bat fall from the roof and land in the employee-only section of Africa Tram's loading area, which is off-limits to the public.
