Coronavirus: Lowest Test and Trace Contact Trace Rate Since Launch

According to new figures from the Department of Health and Human Services, about 69.2% of the contacts of people who tested positive for Covid-19 in the UK reached the week before September 2.

Since its launch, 293,452 close contacts of people who have been tested positive for Covid-19 have been reached via a tracking system, requiring self-separation.
This is 78.8% of the total of 372,493 people identified as close contacts.
The remaining 79,041 (21.2%) were identified as close contacts but could not be reached.
