Allegheny Co. Health Dept. reports 43 new coronavirus cases and 2 additional deaths – CBS Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh (KDKA) — Allegheny County Health Department has 43 new reports Coronavirus Case of 516 test results on Wednesday and 2 additional deaths.
Of the newly reported cases, 15 have been identified and 28 are estimated. Of the possible cases, county health officials say 17 are positive antigen tests.
According to the Ministry of Health, the age of new cases ranges from 4 to 80 years, with a median age of 27 years. The date of the positive test ranged from September 9th to September 29th. Most of the positive tests are within last week.
The total number of cases in the county has reached 12,348 since March.
Since the outbreak began, there have been 1,213 hospitalizations in Allegheny County. Of all hospitalized patients, 316 require ICU care and 123 require ventilator treatment.
The total death toll in the county is 382. The two recently reported deaths are both related to long-term care facilities, the Department of Health said. The patient was in his 80s, one died on September 17th and the other on September 25th.

Since March 14, 12,348 COVID-19 outbreaks have occurred in Allegheny County residents, 1,213 have been hospitalized and 382 have died.
