This tiny 8ml Covid kneels almost every country in the world, but when added together it overflows a teaspoon.
Television mathematician Matt Parker made some assumptions to come up with this number.
But he said that even at the upper limit of his estimate, all Covid viruses on Earth would fit in a shot glass.
In his podcast A Problem Squared, he states: “All the turmoil in the world … is in trouble for a teaspoon.
“The virus particles are so small that they are just the code to destroy other cells.”
Parker further evaluated using 300,000 new cases per day worldwide by first estimating the cell count of each virus patient based on medical swabs and studies.
He calculated the number of people currently carrying the virus, assuming that each new case was infected for 14 days.
Then, by multiplying his number, he estimated that there were 3.3 million Covid-19 cells in the human population.

Covid is one millionth of human cells, so the total is only 8 ml.
In comparison, a teaspoon holds 6 ml of liquid.
Meanwhile, 168 people have died from the coronavirus in the last 24 hours as Britain fought the second wave of bugs.

The NHS will also launch 43 “long Covid” mini-hospitals to treat up to 500,000 long-term patients with the virus.

However, if the infection rate recovers, most of the country could fall into a “circuit breaker” blockade.
