Essex Covid: Basildon infection rate continues to spiral, with tier reviews approaching over 500
Basildon infection rates are currently skyrocketing to over 500, making it the third most affected region in the United Kingdom.
According to the latest government data Basildon It recorded a surprising surge in infection rates during the week.

The situation is so severe that on Thursday night (December 10th), Health Minister Matt Hancock announced that some secondary schools in Essex would undergo rapid testing.
