The Catawba County Public Health Service reported 261 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday.

This resulted in 10,784 cases across the county, 89 hospitalizations, 146 deaths and 8,786 recovery.

Burke County Public Health reported 98 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, for a total of 5,731 cases. Of these, there are 16 hospitalizations, 4,450 recovery and 77 total deaths associated with the virus.

The Coldwell County Health Department reported 56 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday. This resulted in a total of 5,353 cases, 61 hospitalizations, 2,840 recovery and 66 viral deaths.

According to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services website, the total number of COVID-19 in Alexander County increased by 112 on Saturday. The county total is currently 2,505 viral cases. NCDHHS also reported three deaths in the county, for a total of 29 deaths.

NCDHHS reported 5,371 new COVID-19 cases across the state on Saturday, bringing the total to 513,930 cases across the state. Of these, virus-related hospitalizations were 3,023, recovery was 403,488, and deaths were 6,256.
