The COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will be held by appointment on Thursday, January 21st and Friday, January 22nd.

Immunization is Marshall’s 2501 E. End BlvdS. It takes place at the Marshall Convention Center in.

Citizens in Phases 1A and 1B as defined by the Texas Department of Health are eligible for vaccination. These individuals are:

Phase 1A: Definition of healthcare professionals

• Paid and unpaid workers in a hospital environment who work directly with COVID-19 positive or high-risk patients. It is not limited to the following.

• Doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other support staff (administrative staff, etc.)
• Additional clinical staff to support laboratories, pharmacies, diagnostics and / or rehabilitation services
• The patient or others in direct contact with the infectious agent

• Long-term care staff working directly with vulnerable residents. Included:

• Direct Care Providers for Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and State-Supported Living Centers
• Doctors, nurses, personal care assistants, admins, food service staff

• EMS providers engaged in 9-1-1 emergency services such as pre-hospital care and transportation

• Home healthcare professionals, including hospice care, interact directly with vulnerable and high-risk patients

• Residents of nursing homes

• Outpatient clinic staff interacting with symptomatological patients. It is not limited to the following.

• Doctors, nurses and other support staff (administrative staff, etc.)
• Clinical staff providing diagnostic, laboratory, and / or rehabilitation services
• Non-9-1-1 transport for routine care
• Correctional facility and detention center health care workers

• Direct care staff at self-supporting emergency medical facilities and emergency medical clinics

• Local pharmacy staff who may provide services directly to clients, such as vaccinations and tests for individuals who may have a COVID

• Public health and emergency response staff directly involved in COVID testing and vaccination management

• The last responder to provide a morgue or death service to the decedent of COVID-19. Included:

• Preservatives and funeral home workers in direct contact with the decedent
• Coroners and other medical certifiers in direct contact with the decedent

• Yogo teachers who provide medical care to students and teachers

• Those over 65 years old
• People 16 years and older with at least one chronic condition who are at increased risk of serious illness due to the viruses that cause COVID-19, including:
• cancer
• Chronic kidney disease
• COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
• Heart disease such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy
• Solid organ transplant
• Obesity and severe obesity (body mass index 30 kg / m2 or higher)
• pregnancy
• Sickle cell disease
• Type 2 diabetes

Signing up for the vaccine will give you time to receive your first dose of the Moderna vaccine (once per person, per vaccine dose).

Please print and fill out the required form according to the sign-up Genius email before arriving for vaccination.

If you don’t have a printer, you can get the documents upon arrival. Computer access is available at the Marshall Public Library at 300 N. Alamo Blvd. If internet is not available.

Phase 1A individuals are required to present their current badge or other institutional identification, and Phase 1B individuals are required to provide a valid form of state-issued identification.

You will need a face cover to enter the building.

Must stay for observation 15-30 minutes after vaccination.

The Marshall Harrison County Health District is working with DSHS to secure more vaccines each week and will publicly inform about future available vaccine clinics.
