Oregon has reported an additional 13 COVID-19 deaths, two from Crook County. 775 new cases
Portland, Oregon (KTVZ)-In Oregon, there are 13 new COVID-19-related deaths, including two residents of Crook County, with 1,877 deaths in the state, Oregon Health Department. Reported on Saturday.
OHA also reported 775 new confirmed estimated COVID-19 cases at 12:01 am on Saturday, bringing the state total to 137,600.
Vaccination in Oregon
On Saturday, OHA reported that a new dose of 15,461 COVID-19 vaccinations had been added to the state’s vaccination registry. Of this total, 11,151 vaccinations were given on Friday and 4,310 were given the day before, but were registered for vaccination registration on Friday.
Cumulative daily totals can take several days to finalize, as providers have 72 hours to report the dose administered and many providers are behind in reporting due to technical challenges. OHA has provided technical support to vaccination sites to improve the timeliness of data entry into the state’s ALERT Vaccination Information System (IIS).
Oregon is currently receiving a cumulative total of 285,914 COVID-19 vaccines for the first and second doses. All vaccinations were carried out by Oregon hospitals, care facilities, emergency medical services (EMS) agencies, emergency medical facilities, and local public health authorities (LPHA).
To date, 492,450 doses of vaccine have been administered throughout Oregon.

COVID-19 hospitalization
There are 310 patients admitted to COVID-19 throughout Oregon, seven fewer than on Friday. There are 83 COVID-19 patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) bed, four more than Friday.
The total number of patients in bed can fluctuate during reporting times. This number does not reflect the number of hospital stays or length of stay per day. This data does not include personnel limits and may further limit bed capacity.

Note: The latest information on Oregon’s 1,798th COVID-19-related death, reported as a 71-year-old man in Jackson County on January 16, is available. The updated death certificate does not list COVID-19 disease or SARS-CoV-2 as the cause of death or the critical condition that caused the death and is considered a COVID-19-related death or case. died.
OHA says it is recounting the reported deaths from 1,865 people on Saturday because of this error.

The 1,866th COVID-19 death in Oregon was a 79-year-old woman in Crook County who tested positive on 22 December and died in St. Charles Bend on 21 January. She had a fundamental condition.
The 1,867th COVID-19 death in Oregon was a 84-year-old man in Douglas County who tested positive on January 8 and died at the Mercy Medical Center on January 21. He had a fundamental condition.

The 1,870th COVID-19 death in Oregon was a 84-year-old man in Marion County who tested positive on 21 January and died at home on 21 January. He had a fundamental condition.
The 1,871th COVID-19 death in Oregon was a 62-year-old man in Multnomah County who tested positive on January 5 and died at the Portland Adventist Medical Center on January 11. The existence of the underlying condition has been confirmed.
The 1,872nd COVID-19 death in Oregon was a 87-year-old woman in Multnomah County who tested positive on December 2 and died at home on January 20. She had a fundamental condition.
