Case of Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan recorded 191 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, killing two more and recovering 176.
The state has also identified 98 variant cases. As of Tuesday, 1,673 concern variants were identified through screening. Atypical cases are Far Northeast (1), North Central (6), Saskatoon (46), Midwest (5), Central East (26), Regina (1,348), Southwest (1), Central South (128) ). And the southeast (109) zone.
In total, 2,168 estimated and confirmed atypical cases were identified in the state.
According to the government, 166 people are hospitalized throughout the state. Regina is currently hospitalized with a maximum of 89 COVID-19 patients, including 15 in the ICU.
The one who died was from the Regina Zone in his 70s. The second was over 80 years old and was from the southwest.
New cases are Far Northeast (1), Northwest (3), North Central (5), Northeast (3), Saskatoon (20), Central East (15), Regina (98), Southwest (6), South Central (20) and Southeast (15) zones. There are five cases where residence information is on hold.
The 7-day average for new daily cases is 201, an increase from 173 a week ago.
There are currently 1,955 active cases in Saskatchewan.
On Tuesday, 8,491 COVID-19 vaccines were given. To date, Saskatchewan has been vaccinated with 192,927 doses.
