Domino’s Rethinks TV Commercials on Wrestling Program After “Bloody Scene” Featuring Pizza Cutter

(WTAJ) Domino’s Pizza released a statement after one of their commercials ran directly after a bloody pizza cutter stunt at All Elite Wrestling’s weekly AEW Dynamite event on the TNT network.
The incident occurred during a match between Chris Jericho and self-proclaimed “King of the Death Match” Nick Gage. At one point in the match, which has already seen Gage and Jericho fight with light tubes, glass panes as makeshift weapons, Gage used a pizza cutter on Jericho’s forehead, after which the program went straight into a scheduled advertising break.
The first ad that ran was for Domino’s. The ad also featured images of a fresh pizza sliced with a pizza cutter.
Domino’s then released a statement saying they had no knowledge of what was going to happen during the game, but said the company may remove advertising from the program in the near future, according to FrontOfficeSports.com.
