People across Shropshire felt the power of nature on Monday afternoon, May 30, 2022, after the earthquake was felt across the county and beyond.

The earthquake occurred at 3.36pm, with many people reporting roaring and shaking on our social media.

The British Geological Survey reported a 3.8-magnitude earthquake with an epicenter in the Wym region at a depth of 8 km, about 5 miles.
