According to a Monday news release, the city began a social media competition this week, encouraging residents to submit a photo of a mask that “accepts face covers as an essential but fashionable addition to a wardrobe.”
Prizes include $50 to $100 gift cards from local businesses. Among the participants are Bern’s steakhouse, Forbich Modern Italian, Colombian restaurant group and Armature Works.
To apply, use the hashtag #FaceTheFactsTPA and submit your photo on social media (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram). Entries will be judged in the categories “Most Creative” and “Best Homemade”.
The deadline for application is 11:59 pm on July 12, 2020.
