Imoohi feared that he could not pay the rent or provide for his family.

But these days, Imoohi is hopeful. His business is back on track and he credits the Los Angeles Small Business Development Center with helping him turn it around.
“I have been able to not only survive but also prosper during this season,” he said.

Imoohi said the transition to establishing a digital presence “was one of the main things I didn’t know I had to do”.
The SBDC helped Imoohi obtain an economic disaster loan – often called EIDL – and with its advice, Imoohi launched an online training program called “homegrown”.
