China warns to show respect in Taiwan – BBC News
Taiwan's newly elected President Tsai Ing-Wen told the BBC that China must face reality and respect the will of the people of Taiwan. Speaking exclusively to the BBC's John Sudworth, President Tsai said the threat is increasing from China, which claims self-government of the island's 23 million people as part of its territory. He warned, however, that the cost of any military action to Taiwan could cost China.
