Atlas Insurance helps earthquake victims in Türkiye and Syria

Atlas Insurance recently made a donation of €4,500 to SOS Malta to help victims of the devastating earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria recently.

Team Atlas members have so generously responded to the company’s call to contribute to this cause, and the company has matched the donations collected.

“We are very proud of our team members who have responded without fail to the company’s fundraising initiatives to help worthy causes, such as the plight of earthquake survivors in Turkey and Syria,” said Jackie Attard Montalto, Chief Human Resources Officer at Atlas Insurance. Shown and encouraged by our staff, Atlas Insurance matched the amount raised and made a much needed donation to SOS Malta.”

Claudia Taylor East, CEO of SOS Malta, thanked Atlas Insurance for its donation. SOS Malta’s second mission to the Hatay region, on the border between Turkey and Syria, left Malta on 12 March to help local NGOs and UNHCR set up tents equipped with a toilet, beds, wood stove and food supplies for earthquake victims. Two tents have also been set up to host a classroom and provide health assistance.
