David Cameron: Former palace disgrace in former prime minister – BBC News

qq

Buckingham Palace has expressed concern over former Prime Minister David Cameron seeking support for the Queen in Scotland's independence referendum campaign. In a BBC documentary, Cameron said that in 2014 he had asked the Queen to intervene, as Scotland would vote for independence. Later, the queen asked people to "think carefully" about the future.

The former Conservative prime minister also noted that Sir John Major's lawyer told the Supreme Court that the current minister, Boris Johnson, had been "honest" about the reasons for the suspension of Parliament. Mr Johnson said Brexit is moving forward with talks with the EU.
