GA-ASI holds first ever Blue Magic event in the Netherlands

Dual-Use Innovation and Funding Conference Gives Dutch Companies Opportunity to Partner with World's Top UAS Suppliers

SAN DIEGO – July 22, 2024 – Following the success of its Blue Magic event in Belgium, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) will host its first Blue Magic event in the Netherlands on November 19, 2024. The Blue Magic Netherlands (BMN) event will take place in Eindhoven, a city known as a global technology hub. BMN will bring together Dutch startups, universities, government officials, aerospace leaders and other high-tech industry representatives to review technological advancements within the Dutch technology ecosystem and provide funding opportunities to qualified partners to support the next generation of dual-use solutions.

The event will feature GA-ASI as well as partners Lockheed Martin Ventures, Brabant Development Agency (BOM), Netherlands Industries for Defence & Security (NIDV) and Brainport Development, the organisation developing regional economic strategies and projects and promoting Brainport Eindhoven nationally and internationally.

GA-ASI held the first European Blue Magic event in 2019, followed by further events in 2020, 2021 and 2023. Since the inception of Blue Magic, GA-ASI has worked with a wide range of European and international companies. At the Blue Magic Netherlands event, GA-ASI and other attendees will hear technology presentations followed by lively panel discussions and host a networking event where attendees can meet with other tech companies and leaders to see if they can leverage their capabilities in new and useful ways.
