British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has called on parliamentarians to negotiate with the EU and approve a new bill amending parts of the Brexit deal he signed in January. Mr Johnson has received strong criticism, with at least two former Conservative prime ministers warning that there will be serious confidence in the UK as a whole as an international partner if plans go ahead. Scottish Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon has accused the government of plotting to steal powers from the administrations responsible for the proposed changes.
