To Facebook post on TuesdayThe Puritan backroom in Manchester, New Hampshire, has announced that it will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to work with local health authorities to follow appropriate response protocols. “This employee is asymptomatic, but it’s best to be careful and pause for a moment,” the restaurant said. “Guest and employee health and safety are paramount, and we will take several steps over the next few days to ensure that trust.”
Puritan officials said the bartender was “asymptomatic and in close contact with someone else, but virus-positive,” and learned of this during work on Saturday.
