Cross US border for school – BBC News

Ana Fernanda and Ana Luisa Bernal are 16-year-old twins and teenagers in high school. From kindergarten, they cross international borders every day to attend school.

The girls live in Mexicali, Mexico, with their mother, but those born in the US can take an English learning course in Calexico, California.

Like many other children (or “cross-border”) children studying in another country, twins are starting to get up early.
