“Critical Incident” Declared in Essex as Covid Threatening to Overwhelm Healthcare Services | UK News
Local government Essex Declared a “serious incident” because the number of cases of coronavirus could overwhelm medical services in the county.
The announcement was made in response to a “significant increase in demand” for hospitals throughout the county, which would allow local leaders to seek further support from the government, the Essex Resilience Forum. ERF) said.
