New Brunswick reports 12 new COVID-19 cases, one death on Saturday-New Brunswick
New Brunswick confirmed on Saturday that an individual in his 80s in Zone 4 (Edmundston region) died of underlying complications, including: COVID-19The total number of COVID-related deaths in the state is 18.
The state also reported 12 new cases of COVID-19, stating that 283 active cases remained in New Brunswick.
“It’s never been easy to hear that fellow New Brunswick died in COVID-19,” said Premier Brain Higgs. “Marcia and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies while their loved ones are in mourning.”

“Our idea is also in healthcare professionals who provide continuous care and comfort during the pandemic. COVID-19 is a reality and considers the seriousness of the pandemic in our state. We need to strengthen our due diligence to follow the rules to protect each other, “he added.
Of the 12 cases, four are in Zone 1 (Moncton area), one is in Zone 3 (Fredericton area), and seven are in Zone 4 (Edmundston area).

According to Public Health, all cases are self-isolating and under investigation.
The number of confirmed cases in New Brunswick is 1,230. Since Friday, 41 people have recovered, for a total of 928 recovery.
The state said three patients were hospitalized in the intensive care unit with two. On Friday, 1,355 tests were conducted, for a total of 197,390 tests.
