Ontario COVID-19 Vaccine Reservation System Launches Monday
Ontario has announced details of the COVID-19 booking system, which is set to go live on Monday morning.

Prime Minister Doug Ford states that Ontario is capable of administering far more COVID-19 vaccine than the state currently averages daily, but says it does not have a sufficient supply. ..

Ontario reported a total of 1,747 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday.
Of them:
- 545 were in Toronto
- 352 was in the Peel area
- 163 were in the York area
- 55 were in the Durham area
- 38 were in the Halton area
Number of Sunday cases affected by the “data catch-up process”
Ontario reported 1,747 cases of the new coronavirus on Sunday, bringing the total number of cases in the state to 318,106.
This represents the largest increase since February 1, when 1,969 cases were reported. However, state officials said “the number of cases is higher than expected due to the data catch-up process.”
Authorities said at a press conference in the morning that health minister Christine Elliott could involve “hundreds”, but exactly how many of the 1,747 cases were affected by data cleanup. Does not say.
An additional 15 deaths were reported on Sunday, with the state’s death toll reaching 7,153.
The dose of vaccine given in Ontario is about 42K higher
As of 8 pm on Saturday, Ontario was receiving 1,158,355 COVID-19 vaccines, showing an increase of 41,859 over 24 hours. This is a reduction from the record 53,586 doses reported to have been administered in the last 24 hours.
So far, 285,615 people in the state are believed to be fully vaccinated.
