Japan has been the strongest typhoon in 25 years, causing at least six casualties and 160 injuries.
Typhoon made landfall in the western areas of Jebi, reporting heavy rain and winds of 172km / h (107km / h).
He threw a ship at Osaka Bay onto a bridge and downed parts of the Kyoto train station.
Officials have ordered more than one million people to evacuate homes in affected areas, including warnings of waves, floods and cliffs.
He has already left thousands and thousands of powerless and has called for authorities to go to safety.
