Popular TV actress Rubina Dilaik said on Tuesday that she had started filming her first film Ardh.
Directed by singer and songwriter Palash Muchhal, the film tells the story of a struggling actor in Mumbai.
Dilaik, 34, is known for shows such as Choti Bahu and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.The Big Boss 14 the winner shared the news in an Instagram post.

The film also stars Rajpal Yadav, Hiten Tejwani and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
“Ardh talks about an actor’s struggle in a city like Mumbai. The film will present the experiences of my 15-year journey, ”director Muchhal said in a statement.
Veteran actor and Mirzapur star Kharbanda revealed he played a small but powerful role in Ardh.
Tejwani, best known for his soap operas Kutumb and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, said he was excited to team up with Muchhal. “Palash is a young filmmaker and his energy is amazing. As actors we always want to play different characters and working with young filmmakers like him is fun,” he said.
Yadav describes Ardh like a concept-driven movie. “I’m very happy to be a part of this movie, and I’m really proud of Palash. During the photoshoot, I was amazed at his skills as a young filmmaker,” said the Hungama 2 actor added.
