Ashok Kumar was the older brother of Kishore Kumar. The actor had also stopped celebrating his birthday because of his younger brother. Kishore Kumar died on the actor’s 76th birthday. In such a situation, on the anniversary of his brother’s death, Ashok Kumar stopped celebrating his birthday. Kishore Kumar died of a heart attack.
