FAMILY ACTIVITIES

• Cranbrook Institute of Science: although the Cranbrook Institute in Bloomfield Hills is closed due to a coronavirus, scientists and educators share their expertise related to astronomy, dinosaurs, insects, water conservation and museum collections in weekly online videos at science.cranbrook.edu.

• The Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum: online educational offerings including a virtual tour of the museum, a new blog with articles on art and life in Fredericks, artistic activities including coloring pages on sculpture, video from the Detroit Historical Society of 1959 on the creation of Detroit’s most seen sculpture, “The Spirit of Detroit”.
