PDIP politician calls Jokowi's plan to meet Megawati a gimmick
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) politician Deddy Yevri Sitorus described President Joko Widodo's plan to meet with Megawati Soekarnoputri as a mere political ploy in the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr.
According to Deddy, it is almost impossible for Jokowi to have the courage to visit Megawati after Jokowi's cases of abuse of power.

Deddy stressed that PDIP is a party that firmly opposes the abuse of laws and the Constitutional Court, as well as the power struggles that made the 2024 elections unfair.
Previously, the Presidential Palace said that it was looking for the right time for President Jokowi to visit Megawati Soekarnoputri. Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana said President Jokowi is very open to meeting anyone, especially national figures.
