Jokowi felt his trip to the UAE was special as he was greeted by MBZ at the airport

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) praised the warm welcome from the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan or Prince MBZ, upon his arrival in Abu Dhabi. Jokowi said the welcome made the trip special.
Jokowi revealed this on his Instagram account on Wednesday (17/7/2024). Jokowi also uploaded a video of his welcome moment upon arriving in Abu Dhabi.
“Arriving in Abu Dhabi and being warmly welcomed by President MBZ at Zayed Airport, the journey was special with this friendly welcome,” Jokowi said.

Jokowi said that this visit strengthens economic and investment cooperation between Indonesia and the UAE. Jokowi hopes that this cooperation will continue in the future.
“During this visit, we will strengthen economic and investment cooperation between Indonesia and the UAE, together we will build a better and more prosperous future,” Jokowi said.
Monitoring detikcom In Abu Dhabi on Tuesday (16/7), Jokowi received a lively welcome. Before landing, Jokowi's plane was escorted by 5 F16 fighter jets.
When he landed, Jokowi was immediately greeted by President MBZ on the steps of the Presidency-1 plane that Jokowi was on. The two looked friendly when they met. MBZ then took Jokowi to the car to go to the hotel.
Jokowi was also warmly welcomed upon his arrival at Qasr Al Watan Palace on Wednesday (17/7). A number of cannon shots greeted Jokowi as he arrived at the palace gates.
Arriving at the main gate, Jokowi was greeted directly by MBZ. Royal troops armed with swords and traditional musical instruments accompanied Jokowi's arrival.
After that, Jokowi and MBZ inspected the honor guard. Only then did they both head to the bilateral hall.
