Gandapur vows not to return home until Imran Khan is released

SWABI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said he will not return home until the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, ARY News reported .

Addressing a public gathering in Swabi, the chief minister also pledged to secure the release of Imran Khan at the earliest. Ali Amin Gandapur said that PTI leaders are ready to sacrifice their lives for the release of PTI founders.

We will not stop until the PTI founder is released, even if it means losing his life, he added.

Ali Amin Gandapur said that to achieve Haqeeqi Azadi (true freedom) and hold those responsible for injustices accountable, they must make sacrifices.

Referring to the decision-making authority within the PTI, the chief minister said that only Imran Khan had the authority to take decisions within the party.

Speaking on the occasion, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said that Imran Khan will do so in the near future. He also called the successful show of power a referendum against the mandate-stealing government.

Earlier on October 31, PTI MP and senior lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa said that Imran Khan would be released from jail in November.

Speaking on ARY News show Bakhabar Savera, Latif Khosa ruled out impression of a deal and said the PTI founder would get relief from the judiciary.

Commenting on the upcoming US presidential elections, Latif Khosa said the issue of PTI founder's release may be affected by the upcoming US presidential elections. He suggested that if Donald Trump were to win, it could change the political landscape in favor of the PTI founder.

Latif Khosa has alleged that US diplomat Donald Lu played a role in removing Imran Khan from the post of Prime Minister through a conspiracy.
