Muhammad Yunus says important so that Bangladesh considers China as a good friend; expects the links to enter a new phase

Bangladesh and China have also agreed to strengthen cooperation in fields such as hydrological forecasts, flood prevention and disaster reduction, river dredging, integrated water resources management, water resources development and related technologies.

For the future, Mr. Yunus underlined the economic complementarities between the two countries and their enormous potential for cooperation.

He also launched for growing cooperation in the health sector between Bangladesh and China to reduce high flow rates of Bangladesh patients in India for medical treatment.

Recently, the first group of Bangladian patients, doctors and travel agencies went to Kunming in the Chinese province of Yunnan for medical examinations and treatments, exploring the potential for medical tourism.
