Yunus, XI discuss strategic bilateral problems, have a new chapter in relationships

The chief advisor of Professor Muhammad Yunus and the Chinese President Xi Jinping (March 28) had bilateral talks in the great room of people and discussed bilateral, regional and global issues.

President XI and CA Yunus also discussed means of further strengthening relations between the two countries and taking it to a new height protecting the mutual and strategic interests of Dhaka-Beijing.

The two parties discussed various strategic bilateral problems between Bangladesh and China, the growth of trade and investments, agriculture, infrastructure, support for renewable energy sectors and the resolution of the Rohingyas issue, as well as global problems of mutual interest between the two countries, considering a new chapter in relations.

During the meeting, Professor Yunus searched for the greatest role of China in the establishment of peace, prosperity and stability of the two nations.

During the meeting, he expressed sincere greetings to the Chinese president Xi Jinping on behalf of Bangladesh and his people.

Recalling his long relations with China, the chief advisor said he had an attachment with China to present Grameen Bank and social affairs.

During the meeting, he focused on the Rohingyas crisis, seeking the strong role of China in the safe return and worthy of the Rohingyas at their home home in Myanmar.

The chief advisor will participate in three round tables on different themes – Investments Infrastructure and sustainable energy, Bangladesh 2.0 manufacturing and market opportunities and social affairs, entrepreneurship for young people and the world of three zeros in the same place, where he will exchange views with CEOs of companies, experienced people from the Circle of Social Affairs, renowned Chinese, commercial representatives and young generics from Bangladesh.

Saturday morning, the chief advisor will visit the University of Beijing and will receive the honorary doctorate.

After obtaining the honorary doctorate, the chief advisor will give a speech to the public.

In the afternoon, Professor Yunus will give an exclusive interview to China Media Group (CMG), a renowned Chinese media organization, and Xinhua (probably) where various aspects of multidimensional relations between Bangladesh and China and the future direction of the position of Bangladesh on various contemporary international problems will be shared.

The chief advisor will attend a dinner organized by the Bangladesh ambassador to China.
